Private parking facilities
Privately regulated parking is characterized by the fact that public traffic signs are not used, but corresponding private signs. Onepark has the right to control the parking areas through an agreement with the individual landowner. Signs at the entrance, at the payment machine and elsewhere in the parking areas inform about the terms and conditions that apply to the individual parking facility. By parking a vehicle in an area operated by Onepark, the driver has accepted the posted terms and conditions and an agreement has been entered into in action between the parties. Onepark is obliged to inform about the special terms and conditions that apply and what the consequences of violating the provisions may be.
Onepark offers payment using the Onepark app or automatic withdrawal upon exit through a registered user in autopay.io. When paying through these channels, a service fee of NOK 4.00 per parking session is charged.
The parking attendants who carry out checks and ensure order in our parking lots must be easily recognizable by their uniform. They are authorized to issue control sanctions in cases where violations of the terms have occurred. Parking controls are carried out regularly and in accordance with the standard terms ([www.pklagenemnda.no]) and procedures established by Onepark.
Parking officers are not authorized to cancel a control sanction that has been imposed on the route. You can file a complaint about an imposed control sanction within 3 weeks from the time you should have been informed of the control sanction, normally at the time of imposition. A complaint is made by filling out the [complaint form]. Failure to comply with the complaint deadline will be considered an acceptance of the obligation to pay the imposed control sanction.
Parking regulations
Through membership in the industry association Norwegian Parking Association (Norpark), Onepark has committed to operating a serious parking business. The consumer authorities and the industry have collaborated to create the parking regulations for private parking enforcement. The regulations stipulate rights and obligations for drivers and parking companies. You can read the regulations in norwegian here.
Parking Complaints Board
The Norwegian Consumer Council and Norpark have jointly established the Parking Complaints Board. Anyone who receives a final rejection of a complaint to the Onepark case manager can appeal the decision to the Parking Complaints Board within 2 weeks. The Board's activities are based on the standard terms. The Board handles complaints on private law enforcement and only against private companies and municipalities that are members of the industry association. The Board's principle decisions and other information can be read here: www.pklagenmnda.no
